Other work

Once you’ve been in advertising for a while, it’s hard to know what to show/what to keep and what to let go. Right now, my portfolio skews more social, more video—and most currently focused on BofA. But I’ve worked as a writer (and an ACD/CD) with startups, supermarkets, the Military, MassEquality, a baby bottle brand from Europe, a company that built a weed-eating robot. I did direct mail before it was cool (wait, what?), radio, OLA, emails, newsletters, site work and almost every other medium known to advertising. This is just a sampling of some other stuff I’ve done.

I worked with Dunkin Donuts on a soclal holiday campaign. Short, fun videos, GIFs and how-to videos put DDs front and center during the winter months.

This tree looked cute, but don’t ever eat something that takes this long to make (so many hands touched those munchkins).

We worked with Olympic softball player Jennie Finch on a small campaign for Shout! Combining both video and social, we tapped into Jennie’s fan base (as an athlete and a mom) and let her teach others what she learned about life, family and, well, laundry.

Jennie was so unbelievably nice. She was married to a baseball player and everyone in the house was really tall (even the baby).

We did a whole slew of work for our Cash Rewards card, featuring design and home experts Erin and Ben Napier. They were fun and fast and worked great on social. Now these two are so famous that they stopped taking our calls.

I’ve always wanted a riding mower.

Coolest. Truck. Ever.

If I had a bundt cake pan, I would do it. But who has a bundt cake pan?

Balcony karaoke in the time of COVID

I am a social person. And when COVID hit, I was a little freaked out that I could be trapped with my cat in my small apartment in JP forever. I watched videos of people in Italy singing from their balconies, getting their community together in wonderful singalongs. It was inspiring. I thought I would try it. It didn’t really work out all that much. No one ever sang with me.
