Hi there.

I’m Rodney. It’s nice to meet you.

I’ve spent most of the 2000’s as a creative in the agency world. I started as a writer at Mullen when it was still in the middle of the woods. By the time we moved into the city, I was an associate creative director. After about 10 years there, I thought I should make a change. I took an ACD role at a startup in Waltham, MA. I loved the people. I did not love Waltham. So back to the agency world I went, landing a job at Digitas. Currently I am a creative director for all things social, where I lead a team of smart, dedicated, wonderful people who are much smarter than I am (which is the way I think it should be).

In my experience (in work and life), the key to success is connecting. We all want the same thing: to feel valued, to feel heard, and to feel like we are doing something that makes a difference. And were you to ask me my biggest strength—the thing I can bring to the table that others may struggle with? It’s forming and fostering those connections in the workplace. When you give people the chance to succeed, they do. When you give creative teams the freedom to explore, assuring them that you will be their safety net (if they need it), they thrive.

If you want to chat more about my experience, or about advertising in general, reach out to me. I’ve been trapped in my apartment for close to 6 months, and I miss meeting people.
